Why do people use Taxis?

(Apart from trying to avoid a horror trip on the trains)

But as well as the above have you thought about using a Taxi for:

• Wait & Return work – eg visits to the Vet or shopping trips

· Courier Work – fetch/deliver packages or parcels

· Weddings – even the bride has been known to arrive by Taxi

· Bulky Items – ever spent thousands on a new computer, monitor, printer, scanner then been stung for £50 to have them delivered a week later. Take them yourself by Taxi

· Country Walk – if you’re planning a hiking trip or Canal Towpath walk with different start and finish points then use a Taxi.

· Tourism - Spend a great day at somewhere nice like Warwick Castle. Make it extra special & travel by Taxi.

• Long Distance Trips – 4 people travelling at peak times can save money by taking a Taxi for the whole journey. Rather than Taxis to & from local stations either side of an expensive train journey.
• English Holidays – Hotels, caravans, Norfolk Broads, Canal holidays. All these destinations are not exactly next to mainline stations and after nightmare journeys, transfers with hefty luggage and long connection waits you can still end up with a hefty cost of 2 saloon car Taxis.
